Why South River Aquaponics?

FRESH. ORGANIC. South River Aquaponics has designed our entire business plan around providing mass quantities of the most fresh & organic food available today for those in need.  Our fish are fed only a mixture of organic plant based foods.  With two Le Cordon Bleu graduates influencing our bio-secure greenhouse facility South River Aquaponics has the food saftey handling stanards of a four-star restaurant!!  Raising ONLY fresh water Barramundi (Asian Sea Bass) in SRA's state of the art system ensures there is NO chance for Salmonella. We use absolutely NO SOIL in our facility also eliminating any associated risk of E.Coli.  Even our newly designed grow towers are filled with a coconut coir based soiless media.  We use a high end media mixture specially designed for our growing needs provided by our partners at Waste Farmers (the makers of Batch : 64).  Growing our food in a climate controlled greenhouse allows us to provide our communities with the same high quality produce all 12 months of the year!! South River Aquaponics produces not only the food but the waste from our organically fed fish is perfect for a base to start our organic fertilizers too!
At South River Aquaponics we are dedicated to leading an already inspired industry; Our cutting edge laboratory is designed specially for research and development as well as a place to start our mushroom plugs.  Temperature & humidity controlled, the labortory has walls that are sealed with an epoxy to ensure bio-security and to reflect maximum lumens of light allowing us to experiment with different growing techniques. It is in this same entreprenuers' spirit that we have invented the world's first organic cloning gel - rooting compound called Genesis (Patent Pending).  Genesis is the all natural choice for starting clones because it is the first cloning gel or rooting compound to use a NON-synthetic version of the growth hormone IBA.  We extract our IBA hormone from plant sources by brewing an organic tea.  In everything we do at South River Aquaponics, we strive to leave a minimal carbon footprint on our world, even our business cards are printed on recycled paper using organic soy ink!!  At South River Aquaponics it is our goal to be the largest self-sustaining organic farm in the  world by utilizing aquaponics to provide fresh food, organic by-products and education to those in need!
